  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 tbsp Glitter (fine or chunky) You can mix different colors for various effects.
  • 2 tbsp Liquid glue or clear school glue Optional for increased viscosity.
  • a few drops drops Food coloring Optional for coloring the water.
  • optional Small objects (like sequins or beads) Optional for added interest.
  • optional Funnel Optional, for easy pouring.
  • distilled water Distilled water Preferred for clarity and longevity.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Remove any labels from your bottle or jar so it’s clean and clear.
  • Ensure the bottle is dry before starting.

Adding Ingredients

  • Use a funnel to pour glitter into the bottle. You can mix different colors and sizes for a variety of effects.
  • Consider adding small objects like sequins or beads for added interest.

Mixing Solutions

  • If using, mix in a couple of tablespoons of glue in a bowl.
  • Slowly add distilled water to the glue, stirring to blend. This helps slow the glitter's movement.

Assembling the Bottle

  • Pour the glue-water mixture into the bottle, filling it until just below the neck.
  • If not using glue, simply fill the bottle with water and add food coloring.

Sealing

  • Secure the lid tightly on the bottle. If using a glass jar, you may want to seal it with a hot glue gun to prevent spilling.

Final Touches

  • Gently shake the bottle to see the glitter swirl and settle. Observe the calming effects as it drifts.

Notes

Color themes can enhance aesthetics and additional scents can provide sensory experiences. Experiment with different materials to create unique glitter bottles.
