  • 1 bottle Clear plastic bottle or glass jar (with a secure lid) Ensure it's clean and empty.
  • 1 cup Water Used to fill the bottle.
  • 1/4 cup Liquid glue or clear school glue Helps glitter float.
  • to taste Glitter (various colors) Choose based on desired sparkle.
  • optional Optional add-ins: sequins, beads, or small figurines Customize your calm bottle.
  • to taste Food coloring (optional) To tint the water.
  • 1 tube Super glue For sealing the lid.

Preparation

  • Start with a clean, empty bottle or jar. Ensure it has a tight-sealing lid.
  • In a separate bowl, mix one part glue with three parts water to create a glue mixture.
  • Pour the glue mixture into the bottle, filling it about three-quarters full.
  • Add a few drops of food coloring if you want to tint the water.
  • Gently sprinkle in your choice of glitter until you achieve your desired sparkle.
  • Top off the bottle with more water, leaving some air space for swirling.
  • Securely attach the lid of your bottle. For extra security, use super glue around the rim to prevent spills.
  • Shake the bottle gently to mix the glitter and glue, then watch it settle for a calming effect.

Notes

Customize Colors: Use pastel glitters for a soft look or bold colors for a vibrant effect. Add Fragrance: A drop of essential oil can enhance the sensory experience. Try Different Shapes: Use different bottle shapes like mason jars or clear plastic containers.
