Instructions
Preparation
- Choose a well-lit workspace and lay down newspaper or a plastic sheet to protect surfaces.
Design Creation
- Decide on a shape for your suncatcher (stars, hearts, flowers, etc.) and sketch a simple outline on the plastic sheet with a marker.
Gluing and Glitter Application
- Using a brush or your fingers, spread a thin layer of glue inside your design.
- Sprinkle your chosen glitter over the glued area, covering it completely and shake off excess glitter. Let the glue dry for a few minutes.
Adding Color
- If desired, use colored markers or paints to add details around the glitter.
Cutting and Punching
- Once the glue is dry, carefully cut around your suncatcher shape.
- Punch a hole at the top for the string if you plan to hang it.
Hanging
- Thread the string through the hole and hang it in a sunny spot. Watch as it sparkles in the light!
