Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup salt
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 4 tablespoons glitter silver, white, or your choice

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • food coloring (optional) for coloring
  • Essential oils (optional) such as vanilla or peppermint

Instructions

Preparation

  • Cover your table with a plastic tablecloth or newspaper to catch any mess. Gather all your materials.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, and cream of tartar. Add the glitter and mix until evenly distributed.
  • In a separate bowl, combine water, vegetable oil, and any desired food coloring or essential oils.
  • Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredient mixture. Stir with a spoon until a dough begins to form.
  • Transfer the mixture onto a clean, floured surface. Knead the dough for about 3-5 minutes until it is smooth and stretchy. Adjust with more flour if the dough is too sticky.
  • Once ready, place the playdough in an airtight container to keep it fresh. Enjoy your glittery snow playdough immediately or save it for later!

Notes

Experiment with different essential oils for delightful scents and add food coloring for a fun twist. Use colored glitter for vibrant playdough. Mix in small foam beads for added texture.
