Ingredients
  

Foam Dough Base

  • 2 cups white school glue Ensure it's non-toxic.
  • 2 cups shaving cream (non-menthol) This gives the dough a light texture.
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon glow-in-the-dark paint This will make the ornaments glow.
  • food coloring (optional) For adding color.

Tools and Supplies

  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 spoon or spatula for mixing
  • 1 cookie cutter or mold (optional) For shaping the ornaments.
  • wax paper or baking sheet For drying the ornaments.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, pour in the 2 cups of white school glue.
  • Add 2 cups of shaving cream and mix to combine.
  • Stir in 1 cup of baking soda to create a dough-like consistency.
  • Mix in 1 tablespoon of glow-in-the-dark paint and optional food coloring.
  • Knead the dough until smooth and well-combined.

Shaping and Drying

  • Roll out the dough on a clean surface or on wax paper.
  • Use cookie cutters or your hands to shape the dough.
  • Place shaped ornaments on a baking sheet lined with wax paper.
  • Allow them to dry for 24-48 hours, depending on thickness.

Finishing Touches

  • After drying, display your creations and optionally hang them with string.

Notes

Customize colors with different glow paints or food coloring. Incorporate glitter or small beads for extra flair. Store any unused dough in an airtight container for up to a week.
