Glow Foam Dough Ornaments

Ingredients
For the Dough
- 1 cup white craft glue Can experiment with clear drying craft glue or school glue.
- 2 cups shaving cream (foam) Can be substituted with whipped soap.
- 1/2 cup cornstarch Used to thicken the dough.

- 1 tablespoon glow-in-the-dark powder (non-toxic) Start with this amount and adjust for glow intensity.

- 1 mixing bowl
- 1 wooden spoon or spatula

Instructions
Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white craft glue and 2 cups of shaving cream until well blended.
- Add 1/2 cup of cornstarch to the mixture. This will help thicken and mold the dough.
Add Color and Glow
- If desired, mix in a few drops of food coloring to achieve your preferred color.
- For a luminous effect, add glow-in-the-dark powder—start with 1 tablespoon and adjust to your liking.
Mix Until Soft
- Stir the mixture until it forms a soft, pliable dough. It should feel fluffy and springy in your hands.
Shape Your Ornaments
- Dust your work surface with cornstarch. Roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch thick.
- Use cookie cutters or molds to cut out fun shapes.
Create Hanging Holes
- Before drying, use a straw or the end of a pencil to punch a hole at the top of each ornament for hanging.
Drying Process
- Place your ornaments on parchment paper and let them air dry for 24-48 hours, until they stiffen.
