  • 1 cup Aquarium gravel or sand Used for layering in the jar.

  • 1 piece Paintbrush (if using paint) For applying glow-in-the-dark paint.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Clean your glass jar thoroughly to remove any dust or residue.

Creating the Glow-in-the-Dark Base

  • Apply glow-in-the-dark paint or powder to the inside of the jar using a paintbrush.
  • Ensure you cover all surfaces for a brighter glow and let it dry completely as per product instructions.

Layering Components

  • Pour a layer of aquarium gravel or sand at the bottom of the jar using a spoon or scoop.
  • Add faux plants or sea creatures on top of the gravel, arranging them as desired.

Filling with Water

  • Carefully pour water into the jar, filling it up to your desired level without disturbing the decorations.

Enhancing the Glow

  • If desired, place a small LED tea light on top of the water to amplify the glow effect.

Notes

Customization tips: Try different colored paints or glitters. Replace faux plants with real ones for a natural twist. Use various sizes of jars for multi-tiered displays. Consider adding tiny figurines or themed decorations.
