Ingredients
  

Main Materials

  • 1 jar A clean jar with a lid (like a mason jar) Ensure it is free of dust.
  • 1 bottle Glow-in-the-dark paint or powder This will create the glowing effect.
  • 1 bottle Clear glue or water-based adhesive For securing plants and decorations.
  • 1 cup Decorative pebbles or sand To create the base layer.
  • various pieces Plastic aquatic plants and creatures (fish, starfish, etc.) Use as decorations inside the jar.
  • 1 cup Water Only if using real plants.
  • optional pieces Small lights or LED tea lights For added illumination.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Clean the jar to ensure it is free of dust and residue.
  • Using a paintbrush, apply a generous layer of glow-in-the-dark paint to the inside of the jar. Make sure to coat it evenly.

Adding the Base

  • Once the paint dries, pour a layer of decorative pebbles or sand at the bottom of the jar.
  • Carefully place the plastic aquatic plants and creatures throughout your jar, arranging them as preferred.

Finishing Touches

  • If your jar has a lid, seal it to avoid spills, or leave it open for an authentic atmosphere.
  • If desired, place small LED tea lights inside or around the jar to enhance the glowing effect.

Notes

Experiment with different colors of glow-in-the-dark paints for a multi-colored glow. Consider themed jars like tropical or deep-sea. Monitor any live plants if used.
