Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup white school glue Use non-toxic school glue for safety.
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup baking soda
  • 1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil Helps keep the clay pliable.
  • 1 tablespoon glow in the dark powder Make sure it's non-toxic.
  • as needed Food coloring Optional for color customization.

  • 1 spoon or spatula For stirring the mixture.
  • 1 airtight container For storage of the clay.

Preparation

  • Clear a flat surface to work on and lay down some newspaper or a craft mat to avoid mess.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine white school glue, cornstarch, and baking soda. Stir until smooth, ensuring no lumps are present.
  • Stir in glow in the dark powder. You should feel the mixture becoming thicker and slightly grainy.
  • Drizzle in vegetable oil and add a few drops of food coloring if desired. Stir until well combined.
  • Once combined, use your hands to knead the clay until it feels smooth and slightly sticky.
  • Place the clay into an airtight container to prevent it from drying out.

Notes

Tips: Try different food coloring combinations to create multi-colored clay. Incorporate glitter or fine sand for a unique texture. Store in an airtight container at room temperature to maintain moisture.
