Instructions
Preparation
- Clean the glass jars thoroughly to remove any dust or grease.
- Ensure they are completely dry before applying paint.
Painting
- Use a paintbrush to coat the inside of the jars with a layer of glow-in-the-dark paint.
- Make sure to cover the entire surface for an even glow.
- Allow the paint to dry according to the paint's instructions for adequate drying time.
Creating Fireflies
- While the paint is drying, take small pieces of craft wire and mold them into the shape of fireflies.
- You can make various shapes, such as circles for the body and wings.
Assembling
- Once the jars are dry and your fireflies are shaped, use a hot glue gun to attach the wire fireflies to the lip of the jar.
- For an added glow, place battery-operated tea lights inside the jars.
