  • 1 string Twine or string For hanging the fireworks
  • 1 workspace A clear workspace To protect the area from paint spills

Instructions

Preparation

  • Select a flat surface and cover it with newspaper or old cloth to protect it from paint spills.
  • Use scissors to cut the black construction paper into various firework shapes, such as stars, bursts, or spirals.

Creating Fireworks

  • If using powder, mix it with clear or white paint to create your glow-in-the-dark paint. Stir well until combined.
  • Dip the paintbrush in the glow-in-the-dark mixture and paint your shapes. Make sure to apply a generous amount to ensure a bright glow.
  • While the paint is still wet, sprinkle glitter over the shapes for an extra dazzling effect.
  • Set your painted shapes aside to dry fully, ideally for at least 2-3 hours.
  • Use twine or string to hang your crafted fireworks around your space. Turn off the lights and enjoy the glow!

Notes

Experiment with different colors of glow paint to create a rainbow effect and try other shapes for diversity. Store finished crafts in direct sunlight for the best glow effect in the dark.
