Main Ingredients

  • 1 jar Clear glass jar with lid
  • 1-2 tablespoons Glow-in-the-dark paint or powder
  • 0.5 cup Water Adjust according to jar size
  • optional Plastic or glitter stars For decoration, optional
  • 1 Paintbrush For applying paint
  • 1 Small funnel Optional, for easier pouring
  • 1 Spoon For mixing
  • optional Blacklight For enhanced glowing effect

Instructions

Preparing the Jar

  • Start with a clean, dry glass jar to ensure the paint adheres properly.
  • Using a funnel, carefully add 1-2 tablespoons of glow-in-the-dark paint or powder into the jar.
  • Pour in about half a cup of water, adjusting the amount depending on the size of your jar. The mixture should be thick but not too watery.

Creating the Fireworks Effect

  • Use a spoon to gently stir the mixture, creating a marbled effect with the paint swirling through the water.
  • Add in glitter or plastic stars for an extra decorative touch that resembles distant fireworks.

Finalizing the Display

  • Place the lid on tightly to keep your mixture secure.
  • Expose the jar to light for about 10-30 minutes before displaying for the best glow.
  • Place the jar in a dark room or under a blacklight to see the stunning 'fireworks' come alive.

Notes

Customize with different colors of paint and decorations. Consider adding essential oils for an aromatic effect. Larger jars can be used for more significant displays.
