- 1 sheet Parchment paper To line the baking sheet.
- 4 Skewers or popsicle sticks Used as handles for the apples.
- 1 Baking sheet or heat-resistant surface For melting the Jolly Ranchers.
Instructions
Preparation
- Rinse the green apples thoroughly, ensuring they are clean. Pat them dry to remove excess moisture.
- Carefully insert a skewer or popsicle stick into the top of each apple, going in about halfway to create a handle.
Melt the Jolly Ranchers
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange unwrapped Jolly Ranchers in a single layer.
- Bake for about 5-10 minutes or until the candies have melted into a smooth layer, keeping an eye to avoid burning.
Coat the Apples
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven carefully.
- Quickly dip each apple into the melted Jolly Ranchers, turning to coat evenly.
- If using, sprinkle glow-in-the-dark edible glitter over the coated apples before the candy hardens.
Cool Down
- Place the coated apples back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Allow the apples to cool for about 30 minutes, or until the candy hardens.
