  • 1 cup Water Add to mixture for smooth consistency.
  • Food coloring (optional) Add for tinting the mixture.
  • Small sensory objects (e.g., beads, buttons, foam shapes) Choose various textures and shapes.
  • Glitter (optional) Add for sparkle and visual interest.
  • Silicone molds (optional) For shaping the mixture.

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, mix a few tablespoons of glow-in-the-dark paint with cornstarch or hair gel.
  • Add a splash of water to achieve a smooth consistency.
  • Introduce food coloring if you wish to add a tint.

Assembly

  • Carefully select and add small sensory objects to your mixture.
  • Think of contrasting textures: soft foam shapes, smooth beads, sparkly glitter, etc.

Filling

  • Using a funnel, pour the mixture into the resealable plastic bags.
  • Aim for a neat fill, leaving some space to allow movement.

Sealing

  • Close the bags securely, ensuring no leaks.
  • Encourage shaking and squishing to mix the contents!

Activation

  • Expose your sensory bags to light for a few minutes to charge the glow.
  • Turn off the lights and witness the glowing spectacle!

Notes

Consider adding scented oils for olfactory stimulation, experiment with different colors of paint for unique effects, and use various molds for fun shapes.
