Preparation

  • Clean your jar thoroughly and dry it.
  • If using a tree or twig, place it in the center of the jar.

Mix Baking Soda

  • In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup of baking soda with a few drops of food coloring.
  • Mix gently until the baking soda is evenly colored.

Create the Glowing Solution

  • In another bowl, combine 1/2 cup of white vinegar and 1 tablespoon of corn syrup.
  • Stir the mixture until the corn syrup is dissolved.

Combine the Mixtures

  • Slowly pour the vinegar mixture into the jar with the colored baking soda.
  • Watch as the mixture fizzes and glows!

Add Finishing Touches

  • You can sprinkle glitter on top for extra sparkle.
  • For a glowing effect, shine a blacklight over the jar.

Notes
