Ingredients
  

Materials

  • 1 pack Clear glass marbles (medium size)
  • 1 container Glow-in-the-dark paint or glow powder Follow package instructions for use.
  • 1 piece Paintbrush or sponge applicator For applying the paint.
  • 1 small Plastic container For mixing paint.
  • 1 can Clear acrylic sealant spray (optional) For added durability.
  • 1 piece Newspaper or disposable tablecloth For protecting surfaces.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Lay down newspapers or a disposable tablecloth to catch any spills.
  • Ensure adequate lighting for your workspace.

Mixing the Paint

  • If using glow powder, mix it with a clear medium or water in your plastic container according to package instructions.
  • For glow-in-the-dark paint, use it straight from the bottle.

Applying the Glow Paint

  • Use a paintbrush or sponge to apply a thin layer of glow paint onto each glass marble.
  • Make sure to coat the marbles evenly and avoid thick layers to prevent chipping.

Drying the Marbles

  • Place the marbles on a drying rack or back onto the newspaper and allow them to dry completely (about 1–2 hours).

Optional Sealing

  • For added durability, spray the dried marbles with a clear acrylic sealant.

Charging the Glow

  • After the marbles are thoroughly dried, expose them to light for about 30 minutes to charge their glow.

Notes

Consider mixing different colors of paint, varying the marble sizes, or adding glitter for customization. Use themed colors for different occasions.
