  • 1 sheet Wax paper or transparency sheets
  • 1 pack Orange tissue paper
  • 1 pack Black tissue paper
  • optional bottle Glow-in-the-dark paint For a magical effect at night.
  • 1 pair Scissors For cutting shapes.
  • 1 stick Glue stick
  • 1 piece Pencil For sketching designs.
  • 1 marker Black marker For outlining the pumpkins.
  • 1 length String For hanging the suncatchers.

Instructions
 

Preparing Your Workspace

  • Gather all your materials on a clean and flat surface.
  • Lay down newspaper or an old cloth to catch any mess.

Making the Pumpkin Design

  • Sketch various pumpkin shapes on your wax paper or transparency sheets using a pencil.
  • Carefully cut out the drawn shapes with scissors.

Adding Color

  • Tear or cut orange and black tissue paper into small squares.
  • Apply glue to the backside of your pumpkin cutouts and stick the tissue paper squares onto them, overlapping for a vibrant look.

Adding Glow

  • If desired, apply the glow-in-the-dark paint in areas around the pumpkin designs.
  • Allow drying time according to the paint instructions.

Finishing Touches

  • Use a black marker to outline the pumpkin's features for a striking contrast.
  • Cut a length of string and attach it to the top of the pumpkin for hanging.
