Ingredients
For the Thundercloud
- 1 jar Clear glass jar with a lid Choose a size depending on the desired cloud dimensions
- 1 pack Cotton balls or synthetic stuffing This serves as the base for the cloud
- various drops Food coloring Choose multiple colors for layering
- water as needed Water To mix with food coloring
- 1 piece LED tealight candle or glow sticks Serves as the light source
- optional Glitter or small star-shaped confetti For a sparkly effect
Instructions
Prepare the Base
- Fill the jar by placing a layer of cotton balls or synthetic stuffing at the bottom.
- Place the LED tealight candle or glow sticks in the middle of the cotton base and ensure it's secure.
Create Your Rainbow
- In separate cups, mix water with your choice of food coloring to prepare colored water.
- Carefully pour each colored water layer over the cotton balls, starting from the bottom to create a rainbow effect.
Final Touches
- Continue to add more cotton balls on top of the colored water to enhance the cloud-like effect.
- Seal the jar with the lid and turn off the lights to admire your glowing rainbow thundercloud!
