Ingredients
  

Materials

  • 1 piece Clear glass jar with a lid Alternative: Clear plastic container
  • 6 pieces Cotton balls (or cotton pads) Use for creating the cloud effect
  • 3-4 drops Food coloring (red, blue, yellow, green) Choose colors based on desired effect
  • 1 cup Water To mix with food coloring
  • 1 tablespoon Glow-in-the-dark paint (or glow stick liquid) For the glowing effect
  • 1 piece Small flashlight (optional) Enhances the glow effect if used
  • 1 piece Mixing bowl
  • 1 piece Spoon For mixing

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Start with a clean, dry glass jar.
  • Optional: Paint the inside with glow-in-the-dark paint for an extra glowing effect.

Mixing Colored Water

  • In a mixing bowl, add water and a few drops of food coloring.
  • Mix well until the water is fully colored.

Layering Cotton Balls

  • Take cotton balls and stretch them slightly to create a fluffy texture.
  • Start placing them at the bottom of the jar to create a base layer.

Adding Colored Water

  • Carefully pour the colored water over the cotton balls, allowing them to absorb the dye.
  • Alternate colors and layers for a rainbow effect!

Topping with Cotton

  • Create a cloud layer on top by adding more cotton balls.
  • You can gently fluff them to shape the clouds.

Adding Glow-in-the-Dark Liquid

  • Carefully add glow-in-the-dark liquid to the jar, either mixed with the colored water or on top of the clouds.

Final Assembly

  • Seal the jar with the lid and turn off the lights.
  • If using a flashlight, shine it on the jar to enhance the glow effect!

Notes

Customize with different colors, options for glow-in-the-dark, and add glitter for extra sparkle. Refresh every few weeks for the best result.
