  • 1 clean glass jar Clean glass jar with a lid Ensure the jar is clean and dry.
  • 1 pack Cotton balls
  • 1 piece LED tealight or glow stick If using a glow stick, break it to activate.
  • a few drops Blue and white food coloring Optional for stormy look.
  • about half a cup water Water
  • optional Glitter For a sparkling effect.
  • 1 piece Craft stick or spoon For mixing.

Preparation

  • Ensure the glass jar is clean and dry.
  • Start by adding a few drops of blue and white food coloring to the water for a stormy look.

Assemble the Cloud

  • Gently pull apart the cotton balls and fluff them up.
  • Layer the cotton balls in the jar to mimic cloud formations.
  • Sprinkle in some glitter for a sparkling effect.

Create the Thunder Effect

  • Insert the LED tealight or glow stick in the center of the cotton balls.
  • If using a glow stick, break it to activate and place it in the jar.
  • If using a lid, gently place it on the jar to maintain the cloud's shape.

Notes

Customize with different colors of food coloring for varying effects. You can also use a larger jar for bigger clouds or add small toy figurines for themed scenes.
