Ingredients
  

Basic Materials

  • 1 bottle Clear school glue Tends to dry clearer and easier to work with.
  • 1 sheet Wax paper or plastic sheet Used as a base to protect the workspace.
  • As needed Food coloring or liquid watercolors For creating vibrant colors.
  • 1 set Soft brushes or droppers For applying color.
  • 1 pair Scissors For cutting shapes if desired.

Optional Decorations

  • As needed Glitter For added sparkle.
  • As needed Sequins For extra decoration.
  • As needed Small beads For embellishing the suncatcher.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Choose a flat, clean surface.
  • Lay down wax paper or a plastic sheet to protect your work area.

Create the Base

  • Squeeze a generous amount of clear glue onto the wax paper, creating a shape (circle, heart, or anything you like).
  • Spread it evenly using a brush to ensure it’s a consistent thickness.

Add Color

  • Drop food coloring or liquid watercolors onto the glue.
  • Use a brush or dropper to swirl the colors together, creating beautiful patterns.

Decorate (Optional)

  • Sprinkle glitter, sequins, or small beads on top of the wet glue for added flair.

Drying Time

  • Allow your suncatcher to dry completely (usually 24 hours).
  • Once dry, carefully peel it off the wax paper.

Display Your Creation

  • Hang your suncatcher in a sunny window to enjoy the beautiful colors!

Notes
