Instructions
Preparation
- Gather all materials on a clean, sturdy surface.
- Preheat the oven to 200°F (93°C).
Making Suncatchers
- Unwrap the green crayons and break them into small pieces (about 1-inch size).
- Lay parchment paper on the cookie sheet.
- Scatter the crayon pieces on the parchment, allowing space between them for melting.
- Carefully place the cookie sheet in the oven.
- Bake for about 10-15 minutes until fully melted.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely (about 30 minutes).
- Once cooled, peel the parchment away and cut out your desired shapes.
- If you want to hang your suncatcher, use a hole punch to make a hole at the top.
- Thread the string or ribbon through the hole, creating a loop for hanging.
