  • 1 bag Potting soil Use at least 2-3 inches deep in the container.
  • 1 cup Small rocks or pebbles Layer at the bottom for drainage.
  • optional Activated charcoal Helps keep terrarium fresh by filtering air.
  • assorted units Assorted small plants (succulents, air plants, or moss) Choose based on your preference.
  • 1 set Decorative elements (mini figurines, glow-in-the-dark stars, etc.) Personalize your terrarium.
  • 1 unit Watering can or spray bottle For watering your plants.
  • 1 unit Spoon or small trowel For planting the soil.
  • optional Gloves Use if preferred.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Start with a clean glass container. This will serve as your terrarium’s home.
  • Layer the bottom with small rocks or pebbles (about an inch deep) for drainage.

Setting Up

  • Sprinkle a thin layer of activated charcoal on top of the rocks (optional).
  • Pour potting soil into the container, creating a layer at least 2-3 inches deep and ensure the soil is level.

Planting

  • Make small holes in the soil for your plants.
  • Gently remove each plant from its pot and place it in the hole.
  • Pat the soil around the base firmly to secure each plant.

Decorating

  • Personalize your terrarium with mini figurines and glow-in-the-dark stars or other decorations.
  • Place them thoughtfully among your plants.

Finalizing

  • Use a watering can or spray bottle to mist your plants lightly. Be careful not to overwater!
  • Position your terrarium in a spot where it can receive bright, indirect sunlight for optimal growth.
