Instructions

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine store-bought bubble solution or make your own using dish soap mixed with water.
  • If you want colorful bubbles, stir in a few drops of food coloring.

Creating the Bubbles

  • Use a straw or pipette to dip into the solution.
  • Pursing your lips, gently blow to form bubbles.
  • Carefully catch bubbles inside the ornaments before they pop. This may take a few tries.

Assembling the Lights

  • Take your battery-operated fairy lights and gently insert them into the ornaments after they've filled with bubbles.
  • If they are openable, secure the top to protect the bubbles inside.

Displaying Your Lights

  • Arrange the completed bubble ornaments on a tree, mantel, or around your home.
  • Turn on the lights and watch as the bubbles create magical reflections.

Notes

Customize colors by experimenting with food coloring combinations. For added sparkle, sprinkle glitter inside before sealing. Use different size ornaments for a dynamic display, and consider solar-powered lights for eco-friendliness.
