Ingredients

For the bubble solution

  • 1 cup water Plain tap water works well.
  • 2 tablespoons dish soap Preferably a concentrated variety for best results.
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup Can also use glycerin for longer-lasting bubbles.

Equipment

  • 1 mixing bowl Ensure it is clean.
  • 1 whisk or spoon For mixing the solution.
  • bubble wands Store-bought or homemade from straws.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Gather your ingredients: water, dish soap, and corn syrup.
  • Start by adding 1 cup of water to the mixing bowl.
  • Gradually stir in 2 tablespoons of dish soap while being gentle to avoid creating too many bubbles.
  • Add in 1 tablespoon of corn syrup and stir slowly to combine all ingredients well.

Resting

  • Let the bubble solution sit for at least an hour to thicken for better bubbles.

Bubble Blowing

  • Dip your bubble wand into the mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  • Bring the wand to your lips and gently blow to create bubbles.

Notes

You can customize your mixture by experimenting with different types of dish soap or using glycerin instead of corn syrup for longer-lasting bubbles. Consider adding a few drops of food coloring for colorful bubbles, though be cautious of staining.
