Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup distilled water Available at most grocery stores.
  • 1/2 cup witch hazel or vodka Acts as a natural preservative.

Essential Oils

  • 15-20 drops essential oils Choose bug-repellent oils like lavender, citronella, or eucalyptus.

Additional Materials

  • 1 bottle glass spray bottle Preferably use glass for better preservation.
  • 1 funnel optional funnel Helpful for pouring without spills.
  • 1 set measuring spoons or cups To measure out your ingredients.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all materials on a clean, flat surface.
  • If using a funnel, place it in the neck of the spray bottle.
  • Pour 1 cup of distilled water into the spray bottle.
  • Add 1/2 cup of witch hazel or vodka.
  • Add 15-20 drops of your chosen essential oils.
  • Secure the spray top on the bottle and give it a gentle shake.
  • Store your homemade repellent in a cool, dry place.

Notes

Store your repellent in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Shake before each use to ensure oils are mixed well. Personalize by trying different essential oils.
