Ingredients
  

For the Lollipop Base

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup water

For Flavoring and Coloring

  • 1 set lollipop sticks
  • 1 item candy thermometer
  • to taste food coloring (optional)
  • to taste flavored extracts (e.g., vanilla, cherry, lemon) Use various extracts for different flavors.
  • 1 set silicone lollipop molds or baking sheet lined with parchment paper

Instructions
 

Prepare Your Workspace

  • Gather all ingredients and tools to ensure they are ready.
  • Set up silicone molds or parchment paper nearby for easy access.

Cook the Sugar Mixture

  • In a saucepan, combine granulated sugar, corn syrup, and water.
  • Place over medium heat and stir until the sugar dissolves.
  • Insert a candy thermometer; cook until the mixture reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).

Add Color and Flavor

  • Remove the pan from heat once the temperature reaches 300°F.
  • Quickly add food coloring to achieve your desired hue.
  • Stir in your chosen flavored extract for added taste.

Pour into Molds

  • Carefully pour the mixture into molds, filling each cavity halfway.
  • Insert lollipop sticks into the center of each filled cavity.

Cool and Set

  • Allow the lollipops to sit at room temperature until completely hardened, usually 30-60 minutes.
  • Once set, gently pop them out of the molds or peel off the parchment paper.

Notes

Experiment with different extracts and colors. Roll lollipops in edible glitter or sprinkles for added decoration.
