Ingredients
  

Main ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup white school glue (like Elmer's)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickness) Can be omitted for a thinner consistency.
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar Acts as a preservative.

Tools and storage

  • 1 small mixing bowl
  • 1 unit whisk or mixing spoon
  • 1 unit airtight container for storage To keep your Mod Podge fresh.

Preparation

  • Measure out one cup of water into your mixing bowl.
  • Add one cup of white school glue to the bowl.
  • If desired, sprinkle in one tablespoon of cornstarch.
  • Pour in one tablespoon of vinegar.
  • Using a whisk or spoon, gently stir the mixture until smooth.
  • Transfer the homemade Mod Podge into an airtight container for storage.

Notes

Store in an airtight container to avoid drying. If thickened, add a little water to restore consistency.
