Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour Can use all-purpose flour.
  • 1 cup salt
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil Can substitute with canola or coconut oil.

Optional Additions

  • to taste food coloring For color.
  • to taste essential oils For fragrance.

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, 1 cup of salt, and 1 teaspoon of cream of tartar. Stir well until mixed evenly.
  • In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup of water with 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
  • Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients.
  • Stir the mixture until a dough begins to form.
  • Use your hands to knead the dough for a few minutes until it's smooth and pliable.
  • If desired, add a few drops of food coloring for color and a few drops of essential oils for fragrance during kneading.

Notes

Store the snow dough in an airtight container to keep it fresh for weeks. Add texture with glitter or small beads, and experiment with different food colorings.
