Ingredients

Materials

  • 100 pieces White coffee filters Easy to find, a pack of 100 works well.
  • 1 bottle Food coloring or dye Optional, for color variations.
  • 1 cup Water For mixing with dye.
  • 1 piece Scissors For cutting the coffee filters.
  • 1 piece Twine or floral wire For securing the flower stems.
  • 1 piece Small container For dyeing the filters.
  • 1 piece Pencil or marker Optional, for tracing shapes.
  • 1 flat surface A flat surface to work on Ensure a tidy workspace.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by cleaning your workspace. A tidy area creates a soothing atmosphere for crafting.
  • Take several coffee filters and gently stack them. The more you stack, the fuller your flower will be.
  • If adding color, mix food coloring with water in a small container and dip the edges of the filters into the dye, allowing them to absorb the color.
  • Allow the filters to dry completely.

Assembly

  • Once dried, take a pair of scissors and round off the edges of the stacked filters to suggest a petal shape.
  • To form the flower, pinch the center of the filters and twist them, securing with floral wire or string.
  • Gently separate the layers and fluff them to create a blooming effect.
  • Repeat to create multiple flowers of varying sizes for a beautiful bouquet.
  • Display your flowers in a small vase or jar.

Notes

Store flowers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Optional: Gently mist with water to refresh their look.
