  • 1 cup Clear plastic cup or jar To hold the colored water mixture
  • a few drops Red paint or red food coloring To color the water to represent blood
  • 1 cup Water Used to mix with paint for the blood mixture
  • 1 tablespoon Baking soda Used to create the fizzing reaction
  • 1 tablespoon White vinegar Used to create the fizzing reaction
  • to taste Glitter or small foam hearts Optional decoration for aesthetic enhancement

Preparation

  • Start by mixing 1 cup of water with a few drops of red paint or food coloring in a clear plastic cup.
  • In a separate container, combine 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of vinegar to observe the fizzing reaction.

Execution

  • Carefully pour the red water mixture into the container with the baking soda and vinegar.
  • Watch how the 'blood' moves and bubbles—just like in a real heart!

Finishing Touches

  • For a decorative touch, sprinkle in glitter or small foam hearts to represent the joyful flow of life.

Notes

You can swap red paint for other colors to represent different 'blood types'. The mixture can be customized by adding essential oils for extra sensory engagement.
