Ingredients
  

For the Boba

  • 1 cup tapioca pearls (boba)
  • 4 cups water (for cooking boba)

For the Tea Base

  • 2 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk or syrup Adjust for sweetness
  • 1 tablespoon flavored syrup Your choice: vanilla, matcha, fruit, etc.
  • Ice cubes

For Garnishing

  • Colorful toppings (fruits, whipped cream, etc.)
  • Straws (wide for boba)

Instructions
 

Cook the Boba Pearls

  • In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil.
  • Carefully add 1 cup of tapioca pearls to the boiling water.
  • Stir gently to prevent sticking.
  • Reduce heat and cook according to package instructions (usually about 5-10 minutes).
  • Once cooked, remove from heat and let the boba sit in hot water for an additional 10 minutes, covered.

Prepare the Tea Base

  • In a separate bowl, mix 2 cups of milk with sweetened condensed milk and your flavored syrup.
  • Add ice cubes to the mixture to cool it down quickly.

Assemble the Bubble Tea

  • Once the pearls have finished soaking, drain them and rinse under cold water.
  • Place the boba at the bottom of your glass.
  • Gently pour the chilled milk mixture over the boba.
  • Top with additional ice if desired.
  • Add colorful toppings like fruits or whipped cream for extra flair.

Notes

Experiment with different flavored syrups and toppings. This recipe can also be made vegan using plant-based milk.
