Ingredients
  

Materials

  • 1 bottle Clear plastic bottle with a lid Ensure it has a tight-sealing lid.
  • 1 tube Blue or clear gel (like hair gel or gelatin) This helps the jellyfish float.
  • 2-3 pieces Plastic or paper jellyfish (pre-made or DIY) Cut from material as needed.
  • Optional Food coloring For added color.
  • Optional Glitter For extra sparkle.
  • 1 cup Water Fill the bottle one-third full.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • If making jellyfish, cut squares or circles from your chosen material to create the jellyfish bodies, then cut thin strips to form tentacles.
  • Attach the strips to the body using glue for a cohesive look.
  • If using pre-made jellyfish, skip to Step 2.

Assembly

  • Pour a layer of water into the bottle, filling it about one-third full.
  • If using food coloring, add a few drops to create the desired ocean color and stir gently.
  • Carefully spoon in the blue or clear gel, adjusting the quantity based on how thick you want the water to appear.
  • Gently place your jellyfish into the bottle, ensuring it can move freely when you swirl the bottle.
  • Close the bottle tightly with the lid.
  • Optionally decorate the outside of the bottle with stickers, markers, or paint.

Enjoyment

  • Gently sway the bottle side to side and watch your jellyfish dance.

Notes

Experiment with different colors, materials, or add more ocean-themed toys to enhance the display. Perfect as party favors or an educational craft.
