  • 1/4 cup Sweetener (like honey or sugar) Adjust to taste, depending on fruit sweetness.

  • 1 sheet Parchment paper For lining the baking sheet.
  • 1 each Baking sheet For drying the fruit mixture.
  • 1 each Blender or food processor For blending the fruit mixture.
  • 1 each Stove or hot plate For cooking the fruit.
  • 1 each Spatula or wooden spoon For stirring the mixture.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Wash your chosen fruit thoroughly.
  • Cut the fruit into small pieces.
  • In a saucepan, combine one cup of water with the fruit and cook over medium heat for about 5-10 minutes.

Blending

  • Once the mixture becomes mushy, remove it from heat.
  • Blend the mixture until smooth in a blender or food processor.
  • Add the Kool-Aid packet and sweetener, stirring gently until combined.

Drying

  • Preheat your oven to 170°F (77°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Spread the fruit mixture evenly over the parchment.
  • Place the baking sheet in the oven and let it dry for about 4-6 hours.

Finishing

  • Once dried, remove the fruit roll-ups from the oven and allow to cool completely.
  • Cut them into strips using scissors.
  • Wrap each strip in parchment paper for easy snacking.

Notes

For added joy, experiment with different flavors and keep them in an airtight container. They last about a week at room temperature or longer if refrigerated.
