Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Begin by washing your bottles or jars thoroughly. Make sure they are free from labels and residue.
  • Use the funnel or your hands to carefully pour water into the bottom of the jar, filling it about one quarter full.
  • Add drops of food coloring or liquid watercolors. Swirl gently to create a cloud of colors.

Assembly

  • Once the colors settle, slowly pour in the cooking oil until the jar is nearly full.
  • Sprinkle in glitter for an extra magical touch.
  • Secure the lid tightly to seal your masterpiece and give it a gentle shake to observe the colors swirl.

Display

  • Find a sunny spot to display your suncatcher and enjoy the light filtering through it.

Notes
