Ingredients
  

Slime Base

  • 1 cup school glue (white or clear) Choose based on preference.
  • 1 cup warm water Used to dissolve borax.
  • 1 tablespoon borax powder This acts as the activator.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon-scented essential oil Optional for added fragrance.
  • as desired drops yellow food coloring Add to achieve your preferred shade.

Materials

  • 1 container airtight container For storing the slime.
  • 1 mixing bowl mixing bowl For combining ingredients.
  • 1 set measuring cups and spoons Essential for measuring ingredients.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup of warm water with 1 tablespoon of borax powder.
  • Stir the mixture until the borax is completely dissolved to create your activator.

Mixing the Glue

  • In a mixing bowl, pour 1 cup of school glue.
  • Add a few drops of yellow food coloring and mix well until the desired shade is achieved.
  • Optionally, include 1 tablespoon of lemon-scented essential oil and stir until blended.

Combining Mixtures

  • Slowly pour the borax solution into the glue mixture while stirring continuously.
  • Watch as the slime begins to form – it will clump together and become stretchy.

Kneading the Slime

  • Once the slime pulls away from the bowl, use your hands to knead it until smooth. This may take a few minutes.
  • If the slime feels sticky, add a little more borax solution or a touch of cornstarch to adjust the texture.

Storage

  • Keep your lemonade slime in an airtight container when not in use to maintain its consistency.

Notes

Experiment with colors and textures. Avoid borax for a safer alternative using contact lens solution and baking soda. Try different essential oils for varied scents.
