Light-Up Hand-Painted Sparkle Jar

Materials
- 1 jar Clean glass jar (any size) Ensure the jar is dust-free.
- various colors Acrylic paint Choose any colors you like.
- various sizes Paintbrushes Different sizes can help with detailed painting.
- 1 bottle Mod Podge or clear acrylic sealer Used for sealing the paint.
- 1 candle Battery-operated LED tea light candle To provide the light source inside the jar.
- optional Glitter For added sparkle.
- optional Painters tape or stencils To create patterns or clean lines.
- 1 piece Water or sponge for cleaning For cleaning the jar before painting.
Instructions
Preparation
- Start with a clean glass jar. Ensure it’s free of dust or residue to help paint adhere better.
- Using a large paintbrush, apply a coat of acrylic paint to the inside of the jar.
- Sprinkle glitter onto the wet paint if desired to add a beautiful sparkle effect.
- Allow the jar to dry completely, which may take a few hours in a well-ventilated area.
- Once dry, apply a layer of Mod Podge or a clear acrylic sealer on the painted surfaces to protect your work.
- Place the battery-operated LED tea light at the bottom of the jar and turn it on.
Notes
Customize colors for different holidays, experiment with textures by using sequins or beads instead of glitter, and consider using stencils for more polished designs.
