Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Liquid white school glue
  • A few drops Food coloring or liquid watercolors You can mix colors to achieve desired hues.
  • 1 sheet Wax paper or plastic wrap This will serve as your canvas.
  • 1 piece Cookie sheet or cardboard Used to stiffen the work surface.

Optional Ingredients

  • To taste Glitter or sequins For added sparkle.
  • 1 pair Scissors For cutting any shapes.
  • 1 optional Paintbrush Used for spreading glue.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cover your table with newspaper or a plastic tablecloth to catch any spills.
  • Lay out your wax paper or plastic wrap on a flat surface or cookie sheet.

Mixing Glue and Colors

  • In a small bowl, pour a generous amount of liquid glue.
  • Add a few drops of food coloring or liquid watercolor.
  • Mix the glue and color until you achieve your desired hue.

Creating Your Design

  • Using a paintbrush or directly from the glue bottle, start applying the colored glue to the wax paper.
  • Spread it out in your desired shapes or patterns.

Adding Sparkle

  • If you wish, sprinkle some glitter or sequins onto your wet glue for added texture and sparkle.

Drying

  • Allow your suncatcher to dry completely. This could take several hours or overnight.

Removing and Displaying

  • Once dried, carefully peel your suncatcher off the wax paper.
  • Hang it in a window or on a sunny wall to enjoy the colorful display!

Notes

Experiment with different colors and shapes! You can also use glow-in-the-dark paint after drying for a nighttime effect. Consider creating seasonal themes or gifting suncatchers to loved ones.
