Ingredients
  

For the slime mixture

  • 1 cup white school glue The main base for the slime.
  • 1 cup liquid starch Adjust quantity as needed for the right texture.
  • 1 teaspoon iron filings Gives the slime its magnetic properties.
  • 2 tablespoons water To mix with glue.
  • to taste food coloring Optional for coloring the slime.

Additional tools

  • magnets Neodymium magnets work best.
  • bowl For mixing the ingredients.
  • spoon For stirring the mixture.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue and 2 tablespoons of water. Mix thoroughly.
  • Add any food coloring at this point and mix until you achieve your desired shade.

Add Iron Filings

  • Stir in 1 teaspoon of iron filings to the glue mixture.

Incorporate Liquid Starch

  • Slowly add 1 cup of liquid starch while stirring until the slime reaches your desired texture.

Knead the Slime

  • Once the mixture starts forming, use your hands to knead the slime until it becomes less sticky and more pliable.

Play and Experiment

  • Your magnetic slime is ready! Bring your magnets close and watch how the slime reacts.

Notes

For a unique visual effect, consider using neon or glow-in-the-dark food coloring. Experiment with adding textures like small beads. Store your slime in an airtight container to prevent it from drying out.
