Marco Polo is a classic pool game that involves one player trying to catch others while blindfolded, promoting fun, teamwork, and creativity.

- 1 pool A swimming pool Required for gameplay.
- 2+ players At least two players (more is better!) More players enhance the game experience.
- 1 optional A whistle or a water-safe timer Used to signal the start of the game.
- 1 suit Comfortable swimwear Players should wear appropriate swimwear.
Instructions
Preparation
- Assemble your group of players.
- Decide on a time limit or play until everyone has had a chance to be 'it.'
Gameplay
- Choose one player to be 'It.' This player closes their eyes (or is blindfolded).
- Use a whistle or timer to signal the start of the game if desired.
- Designate the safe areas of the pool where players must remain and explain the boundaries.
- The player who is 'It' shouts 'Marco!' while the other players respond with 'Polo!' and swim away.
- The 'It' player listens carefully to locate other players based on their responses.
- When 'It' thinks they're close to someone, they can reach out to tag them. If tagged, that player becomes the new 'It.'
- Play as many rounds as desired, allowing everyone a turn to be 'It.'
Notes
Customize the game with different phrases or sounds, change locations, or use timers for added excitement. Ensure younger children have supervision and feel safe.
