  • 1.5 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional) For flavoring

Preparation

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the mini marshmallows and butter.
  • Microwave on high for 30 seconds, then stir. Repeat in 30-second intervals until melted and smooth.
  • Gradually add the powdered sugar and cornstarch to the melted marshmallows and stir with a spatula until combined.
  • Once it cools down, use your hands to knead the dough for about 2-5 minutes.
  • If incorporating flavoring or food coloring, add it during the kneading process.
  • Divide the playdough into portions if using different colors or flavors, add food coloring, and knead until well combined.

Notes

Store in an airtight container to keep for up to a week. Use cookie cutters to create shapes and explore themed colors for celebrations.
