Instructions
Preparation
- Thoroughly clean and dry the Mason jar to remove any residues. If desired, apply a coat of mod podge on the inside for added decor.
Base Creation
- Add a layer of decorative sand or gravel to the bottom of the jar. This gives your ocean floor a realistic touch.
- Arrange small artificial fish or sea creatures among the sand.
Water Addition
- Carefully fill the jar with distilled water, leaving some space at the top to prevent overflow.
- If you want a colorful effect, add a few drops of blue and green food coloring and stir.
Lighting Insertion
- Either place an LED tea light on top of the sand or thread string lights down into the jar.
- Ensure the light source is secure and safely positioned.
Sealing and Decorating
- Use a hot glue gun to seal the lid of the jar to avoid spillage.
