Ingredients

Materials

  • 1 bag Clear plastic pony beads (in various colors)
  • 1 unit Solar oven or regular oven For baking the beads
  • 1 sheet Parchment paper or aluminum foil For lining the cookie sheet
  • 1 unit Cookie sheet or silicone mold
  • 1 unit Cookie cutter (optional, for shapes) Use various shapes for different designs
  • 1 length Wire or ribbon (for hanging)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) if using a regular oven, or place your solar oven in a sunny spot.
  • Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. If using cookie cutters, place them directly on the lined sheet.
  • Fill the molds or cookie cutters with your chosen colors of beads, ensuring even coverage and avoiding overfilling.

Baking

  • Place the cookie sheet in the oven and bake for about 15-30 minutes, watching closely for the beads to fully melt without burning.

Cooling and Finishing

  • Once melted, remove from the oven and let cool completely before carefully popping out the melted beads from the molds or cookie cutters.
  • Use wire or ribbon to create a loop at the top for hanging. Optionally, drill a small hole for the string or wire.

Notes

Experiment with color combinations and shapes. Add glitter or natural materials before melting for unique textures.
