  • 1 piece Oven To melt the beads.
  • 1 piece Cookie cutter Optional, for shaping your sun catcher.
  • 1 spray Non-stick spray Optional, to prevent sticking.
  • 1 piece String or fishing line For hanging the sun catcher.

Preparation

  • Choose your colors: Select a combination of Perler beads that you love, considering complementary colors or desired patterns.
  • Arranging Beads: Place the beads in a cookie cutter on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, or free-form your design.

Melting the Beads

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Bake the tray in the oven for 10-15 minutes, until the beads have melted but are still recognizable.
  • Once melted, remove from oven and let cool completely for about 20-30 minutes.

Finishing Touches

  • Once cooled, gently pop the sun catcher out of the cookie cutter.
  • Use string or fishing line to create a hanging loop at the top of your sun catcher.
