Materials
- 1 bag Plastic beads (perler beads or pony beads) Use various colors for creative designs.
- 1 mold Metal suncatcher mold or silicone mold Choose shapes you prefer.
- 1 sheet Baking sheet
- 1 sheet Parchment paper To line the baking sheet.
- 1 each Oven Set to 400°F (200°C).
- 1 pair Oven mitts For safely handling hot items.
- 1 optional Spray adhesive For attaching hanging wire or string.
- 1 length Wire or string For hanging the suncatcher.
Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place parchment paper on a baking sheet.
- Arrange your plastic beads in the mold to create designs.
Melting Process
- Place the mold in the preheated oven.
- Bake for 10-20 minutes until beads are melted and smooth.
- Carefully remove the baking sheet using oven mitts.
Cooling Down
- Let the mold cool completely before removing the suncatcher.
- Gently push the suncatcher out once it’s cool.
Prepare for Hanging
- Optionally spray the back with adhesive and attach wire or string.
- Allow it to dry.
Notes
