  • 1 unit Muffin tin or silicone molds Silicone molds can simplify removal.
  • 1 sheet Parchment paper Use if using a muffin tin for easier cleanup.
  • 1 unit Oven Preheat before use.
  • 1 pair Oven mitts Essential for handling hot molds.
  • 1 length Wire Optional for hanging the suncatchers.
  • 1 unit Paintbrush Optional for cleanup.

Preparing Your Workspace

  • Select a clean, flat surface for your crafting.
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a muffin tin with parchment paper if not using silicone molds.

Filling the Molds

  • Start placing your beads in the molds in a single layer. Group colors to create patterns or designs.
  • Feel the smoothness of the beads as you arrange them, visualizing the final product.

Melting the Beads

  • Carefully place the filled molds in the preheated oven.
  • Bake for about 15-20 minutes, until the beads are fully melted but not bubbling.
  • After baking, use oven mitts to remove the molds from the oven and let them cool completely before handling.

Finishing Touches

  • Gently pop the suncatchers out of the molds once cooled.
  • If you want to hang them, poke a hole and string through wire.

Notes

Experiment with different colors and shapes to create unique designs. Consider adding small charms or embellishments before melting for personalization.
