  • 1 piece Cooling rack
  • 1 string String or fishing line for hanging Optional: cookie cutters for shapes.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Choose your molds. If using a metal cookie sheet, optionally add parchment paper for easier cleanup. For unique shapes, use cookie cutters.

Bead Arrangement

  • Arrange the plastic beads in your chosen molds, creating colorful patterns or artistic designs by mixing and matching beads.

Melting Process

  • Carefully place the tray in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, watching closely as the beads melt and fuse together.
  • Once melted but not bubbling, carefully remove the tray from the oven and let it cool for approximately 10-15 minutes.

Finishing Touches

  • After cooling, gently pop your suncatcher out of the mold. If using cookie cutters, carefully remove them.
  • Use a drill or hot glue to create a small hole at the top (if necessary) and attach string or fishing line for hanging.

Notes

Experiment with different shapes and colors, layer beads, and add charms for a personalized touch. Hang multiple suncatchers for a stunning display.
