  • 1 package Plastic Perler beads (or similar brands) These beads are designed to melt smoothly.
  • 1 sheet Parchment paper Used to line the baking sheet.
  • 1 piece Baking sheet For placing the beads to melt.
  • 1 set Cookie cutters For shaping the suncatchers.
  • 1 unit Oven Preheat to 400°F (200°C).
  • 1 spray Non-stick spray Optional, for easy removal of suncatcher.
  • 1 piece String or fishing line For hanging the suncatcher.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place cookie cutters on the parchment paper and fill them with plastic beads.

Melting

  • Carefully place the baking sheet in the preheated oven.
  • Bake for approximately 10-15 minutes. Watch closely.

Finishing Touches

  • Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the suncatchers cool completely.
  • Carefully remove the melted bead shape from the cookie cutter.
  • Create a loop for hanging using string or fishing line.

Notes

Consider experimenting with color themes or different shapes. Layer beads for added depth.
