Ingredients
  

Materials

  • 1 pack Perler beads (or any melting beads) Choose colors of your preference.
  • 1 unit Metal cookie cutter or silicone molds Any shape can be used.
  • 1 sheet Baking sheet For baking the beads.
  • 1 sheet Parchment paper To prevent beads from sticking.
  • 1 oven Oven Preheat for melting beads.
  • 1 length String or fishing line For hanging the suncatcher.
  • 1 pair Scissors For cutting the string.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to prepare for melting the beads.
  • Place a sheet of parchment paper on your baking sheet to prevent the beads from sticking.
  • Place your cookie cutter or mold on the parchment paper and fill it with beads, ensuring they touch each other for a solid design.

Baking

  • Carefully place the baking sheet in the oven. Bake for 10-15 minutes, monitoring closely to avoid burning.
  • Once melted, take the baking sheet out and let it cool for about 10-15 minutes before gently removing the suncatcher from the mold.

Finishing Touches

  • Cut a length of string or fishing line and thread it through a hole in the suncatcher.
  • Hang your creation in a sunny spot and enjoy!

Notes

Experiment with color combinations and shapes. Consider making themed collections or hosting crafting parties. Use clear acrylic spray for extra gloss.
