Melted Snowman White Chocolates

- 2 cups white chocolate chips For the chocolate base.
- 1 cup Rice Krispies or puffed rice cereal Adds texture to the chocolates.
- 12 pieces mini pretzels Used for arms.
- 12 pieces candy eyeballs or chocolate chips Decorative eyes for the snowman.
- 12 pieces large marshmallows For the snowman body and head.
- 12 pieces orange candy melts or small orange candies Used for noses.
Equipment
- 1 piece wax paper or silicone baking mats Used for setting the chocolates.
- 1 piece microwave-safe bowls For melting the chocolate.
- 1 piece piping bags or plastic sandwich bags For decorating.
Instructions
Preparation
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second increments, stirring in between until smooth and fully melted.
- Once melted, add the Rice Krispies to the chocolate and stir thoroughly until the cereal is coated evenly.
- Using a spoon, scoop the chocolate-cereal mixture and form small snowball shapes. Place them onto wax paper or silicone baking mat.
- Let them cool and harden at room temperature, or speed up the process by placing them in the refrigerator for about 10-15 minutes.
- Once your snowman bodies are set, melt a bit more white chocolate for 'glue.'
- Attach one marshmallow on top of another (two marshmallows in total) for the snowman's head and body.
- Dip the top marshmallow lightly in melted white chocolate and then place it on top of the snowman body.
- Use the melted chocolate as 'glue' to secure pretzel arms, candy eyeballs, and orange candy for noses.
Notes
You can try adding flavored extracts like peppermint or almond to the melted chocolate for variations. Store chocolates in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
